Now in its 7th year, the Dublin Electronic Arts Festival (DEAF) is one of the most forward-thinking events of its kind in Ireland's cultural calendar. A shoe factory in a former life, Mother Redcap's is a large, two storied pub, refurbished in rustic fashion using timbers salvaged from an old flour mill. Lots of live music, mainly traditional, jazz and blues....

Award winning architecture has transformed this old Quaker meeting house into a complex which includes two cinemas, a bookshop, and a bar come restaurant which are all planned around a glass covered courtyard. The food is innovative but reasonably priced.
